Find
Instructions to Authors
When
an author wants to write an article for a medical journal, he
has to follow the “Instructions to Authors” that are specific for that
journal. To find these
instructions, a number of US medical librarians collected the
medical journals instructions into ‘Instructions to Authors in the Health Sciences’ that lists the journals
titles alphabetically :International Committee of Medical Journal Editors
(ICMJE) that publishes the
“Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted
to Biomedical Journals”
Use
Google more effectively
Everyone uses Google, but not everyone is aware of the tips that
can help to search it more effectively. One way of showing these tips is
by listing different search commands and explaining what each would
retrieve.
